Night Support Worker - Cloonavin Green Project

Salary Remuneration: £8.05 per hour + Pension opportunity

Description and Duties

40 hours / 30 hours / 20 hours

Night shifts are 10:00pm to 8:00am.

The Support Worker will provide support to adults with learning disabilities. Support will include help with nighttime security, safety & comfort, cooking, domestic tasks, personal care and other daily living skills. Naturally, some service users require additional positive behaviour support.


Honesty, integrity, motivation, and ambition will stand you in good stead from the off. We value interpersonal skills learned from other industries such as hospitality & retail. We’d love you to be able to evidence good organisational skills, showing initiative, teamwork and a strong work ethic. 

Whether you’re new to the industry or have years of experience, we still want to see that you have the desire to learn. The successful candidate will preferably hold an NVQ in Health & Social Care / Child Care / Early Years / B-Tech National Diploma in Social Care or other relevant qualification. 

Access to your own transport with appropriate insurance cover is desirable but not essential. 

You must be able to show an awareness of the needs of adults with learning disabilities in a supported environment and demonstrate that you have the basic skills and values needed to provide the necessary support that’s required. If you can show an understanding of the mechanics and the intrinsic value of various approaches and programmes used to positively manage complex behaviour, then we’ll be really impressed.
