Night Support Worker - Cloonavin Green Project

Salary Remuneration: 8.05 per hour + Pension opportunity

Closing Date: 31st October 2018


Description and Duties

  • 30 hours per week - any three nights out of seven
  • 20 hours per week- any two nights out of seven
  • Shifts are: 10:00pm to 08:00am


The successful candidate will preferably hold an NVQ in Health & Social Care / Child Care / Early Years / B-Tech National Diploma in Social Care or other relevant qualification. Experience in working in the care or support industry is essential.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an awareness of the needs of adults with learning disabilities in a supported environment. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the skills required to support people with learning disabilities and will understand the mechanics and the intrinsic value of various approaches and programmes. Applicants should be flexible, motivated, and energetic and show an ability to be an effective team member.
