Residential Care

Located in Portrush, our residential care provision offers care and support for adults who have learning disabilities in intimate and homely surroundings.

Fairways - Duncreggan opened in 1991 after extensive refurbishment to create a homely environment for twenty-one adults with learning disabilities. One of the oldest buildings in portrush, this three story property maintains its inviting character of charm and warmth.

With a fully trained team of staff, led by Home Manager Sonia Bradley, the standard of care and support is among the best in the industry. Going rather further than 'typical' residential care, each service user receives a genuinely user led package of care and support. We actively facilitate and encourage social involvement in community based activities and groups. Our willingness to build positive relationships with families and professionals from outside agencies, means that a multi-disciplinary approach ensures needs are met in the most holistic appropriate manner. We endeavour to operate with real transparency and we actively encourage residents to be at the core of the care planning process whilst offering family members as much input as they wish.

Registered with the RQIA, inspection reports are available from them on request or can be viewed at Duncreggan - just ask Sonia and she will be more than happy to assist. Continual monitoring and improving of standards is also promoted with the voluntary undertaking of the BE EN ISO certification which we have achieved through all our services.
