Take time out
Our decades of experience working with families affected by learning disabilities and behaviours that concern, mean that we understand the pressures and stress this can put on families and the users who we serve. Fairways short break care allows carers to take time out to look after themselves and avoid burnout whilst providing the same benefit for the person who’s coming to stay with us on holiday.
Short breaks can be booked through the Northern Trust Social Work Department, based at Rathlea House, Rugby Avenue, Coleraine. The service is available to people who are:
- 18+ years old
- Diagnosed with a learning disability
- Receiving services from the Adult Positive Behaviour Service
If you would like more information about our respite service, please get in touch with our team leader Laura, or go to the ‘Contact Us‘ page.
